What Shapes Us is an exhibition created by Team AWESOME for the DSGD 120 Exhibition Design Class at SJSU BFA 2026. Inspired by our journey as BFA students and graphic designers, the exhibition explores the key elements that shape how we create every design. The story begins with five essential factors behind every design process: Purpose, Curiosity, Concept, Form, and Perseverance. This motion graphics piece brings that story to life through animated visuals and storytelling.

Our team believes that at the beginning of our creative paths, uncertainty is inevitable; however, through purpose, concept, curiosity, form and perseverance, we all meet at our final design outcomes.
