Unfold the Layers is my BFA thesis project, exploring Vietnamese ca dao & tục ngữ through material, typography, and imagery to bridge generations and cultural memory.

As a young member of a Viet family, I heard a lot of folk songs and proverbs during my childhood and have always been curious about their meanings. As I grew up, I found myself interested in the reasons why many elders use folk songs and proverbs a lot of times to educate younger generations.
